Aquilla Dam Information

Aquilla Dam is an earthen embankment dam located in Waco, Hill, Texas.

The dam, which is on the Aquilla Creek River, was primarily built for Flood Risk Reduction purposes, but also serves for Fish and Wildlife Pond, Recreation and Water Supply benefits.

The dam was designed by CESWF and commissioned in 1983 and is currently owned by USACE – Fort Worth District.
