Gem Lake Dam Information

Gem Lake Dam is a concrete multi-arch dam located about 3 miles from June Lake, Mono, California.

The dam, which is on the Rush Creek River, was primarily built for Hydroelectric purposes, but also serves for Recreation benefits.

The dam was designed by L.R. Jorgensen and commissioned in 1917 and is currently owned by Southern California Edison Company.
