Los Banos Creek Detention Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 7 miles from Los Banos, Merced, California.

The dam, which is on the Los Banos Creek River, was primarily built for Flood Risk Reduction purposes, but also serves for Recreation benefits.

The dam was designed by and commissioned in 1965 and is currently owned by US Bureau of Reclamation.
