Sly Creek Dam Information

Sly Creek Dam is an earth rockfill dam located about 7 miles from Woodleaf Powerhouse, Butte, California.

The dam, which is on the Lost Creek River, was primarily built for Hydroelectric purposes, but also serves for Irrigation and Water Supply benefits.

The dam was designed by Bechtel and commissioned in 1961 and is currently owned by South Feather Water and Power Agency.
