Granby Dam Information

Granby Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 8 miles from Granby, Grand, Colorado.

The dam, which is on the Colorado River, was primarily built for Hydroelectric purposes, but also serves for Irrigation benefits.

The dam was designed by and commissioned in 1949 and is currently owned by US Bureau of Reclamation.
