Grass Valley Dam Information

Grass Valley Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 4 miles from Silt, Garfield, Colorado.

The dam, which is on the Harvey Gap River, was primarily built for Irrigation purposes, but also serves for benefits.

The dam was designed by S. O. HARPER;UNKNOWN;UNKNOWN and commissioned in 1892 and is currently owned by SILT WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT.
