Cedar Lake Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 12 miles from Rattlesnake Ferry, Jackson, Illinois.

The dam, which is on the Cedar Creek River, was primarily built for Recreation purposes, but also serves for Water Supply benefits.

The dam was designed by STANLEY CONSULTANTS and commissioned in 1974 and is currently owned by CITY OF CARBONDALE.
