Lake Decatur Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 0.1 miles from Decatur, Macon, Illinois.

The dam, which is on the Sangamon River, was primarily built for Recreation purposes, but also serves for Water Supply benefits.

The dam was designed by PEARSE, GREELY & HANSEN and commissioned in 1922 and is currently owned by CITY OF DECATUR.
