Lake Ponderosa Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 16 miles from Spring Valley, Poweshiek, Iowa.

The dam, which is on the Tr-Moon Creek River, was primarily built for Other purposes, but also serves for Recreation benefits.

The dam was designed by THOMPSON WILLIS & CO. and commissioned in 1969 and is currently owned by Poweshiek County Board of Supervisors.
