Three Mile Reservoir Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 26 miles from Westerville, Union, Iowa.
The dam, which is on the Three Mile Creek River, was primarily built for Flood Risk Reduction purposes, but also serves for Recreation and Water Supply benefits.
The dam was designed by BURNS and MCDONNELL;Burns & McDonnell and commissioned in 1995 and is currently owned by Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
