Big Hill Dam Information

Big Hill Dam is an earthen embankment dam located in Cherryvale, Labette, Kansas.

The dam, which is on the Big Hill Ck River, was primarily built for Flood Risk Reduction purposes, but also serves for Recreation and Water Supply benefits.

The dam was designed by CESWT and commissioned in 1981 and is currently owned by USACE – Tulsa District.
