Cedar Bluff Dam Information

Cedar Bluff Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 25 miles from Schoenchen, Trego, Kansas.

The dam, which is on the Smoky Hill River, was primarily built for Flood Risk Reduction purposes, but also serves for Irrigation, Fish and Wildlife Pond, Recreation and Water Supply benefits.

The dam was designed by US Bureau of Reclamation and commissioned in 1951 and is currently owned by US Bureau of Reclamation.
