Frd No 23a Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 5 miles from Matfield Green, Chase, Kansas.

The dam, which is on the South Fork Cottonwood River, was primarily built for Flood Risk Reduction purposes, but also serves for benefits.

The dam was designed by USDA NRCS and commissioned in 1993 and is currently owned by SOUTH FORK WJD NO 76.
