Moosehead – East Outlet Dam is a concrete earth gravity dam located about 24 miles from The Forks, Somerset, Maine.

The dam, which is on the Kennebec River, was primarily built for Hydroelectric purposes, but also serves for Recreation, Water Supply and Flood Risk Reduction benefits.

The dam was designed by and commissioned in 1835 and is currently owned by Kennebec Water Power Company.
