Elm Lake Dam Information

Elm Lake Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 15 miles from Thief River Falls, Marshall, Minnesota.

The dam, which is on the Thief River-Tr, was primarily built for Fish and Wildlife Pond purposes, but also serves for benefits.

The dam was designed by and commissioned in 1988 and is currently owned by MNDNR-Wildlife.
