Blue Springs Dam Information

Blue Springs Dam is a rockfill earth dam located about 4 miles from Lees Summit, Jackson, Missouri.

The dam, which is on the East Fork Little Blue River, was primarily built for Flood Risk Reduction purposes, but also serves for Fish and Wildlife Pond and Recreation benefits.

The dam was designed by CENWK and commissioned in 1988 and is currently owned by USACE – Kansas City District.
