Bair Dam Information

Bair Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 1 miles from Checkerboard, Meagher, Montana.

The dam, which is on the North Fork Musselshell Ri River, was primarily built for Irrigation purposes, but also serves for benefits.

The dam was designed by and commissioned in 1939 and is currently owned by STATE WATER PROJECTS.
