Morony Dam Information

Morony Dam is a gravity concrete dam located about 29 miles from Fort Benton, Cascade, Montana.

The dam, which is on the Missouri River, was primarily built for Hydroelectric purposes, but also serves for benefits.

The dam was designed by Electric Bond and Share/Charles T. Main and commissioned in 1929 and is currently owned by NorthWestern Energy.
