Merriman Dam Information

Merriman Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 1 miles from Lackawack, Ulster, New York.

The dam, which is on the Roundout Creek River, was primarily built for Water Supply purposes, but also serves for benefits.

The dam was designed by and commissioned in 1945 and is currently owned by NYCDEP DAMS WEST OF THE HUDSON RIVER.
