Falls Lake Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 1 miles from Falls, Wake, North Carolina.
The dam, which is on the Neuse River, was primarily built for Flood Risk Reduction purposes, but also serves for Fish and Wildlife Pond, Recreation and Water Supply benefits.
The dam was designed by COE and commissioned in 1981 and is currently owned by USACE – Wilmington District.
