English Coulee Dam Information

English Coulee Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 14 miles from Grand Forks, Grand Forks, North Dakota.

The dam, which is on the English Coulee River, was primarily built for Flood Risk Reduction purposes, but also serves for benefits.

The dam was designed by USDA NRCS and commissioned in 1990 and is currently owned by Grand Forks County WRB.
