Candlewood Lake Dam Information

Candlewood Lake Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 7.2 miles from Mt. Gilead, Morrow, Ohio.

The dam, which is on the Whetstone Creek River, was primarily built for Recreation purposes, but also serves for benefits.

The dam was designed by DODSON-LINDBLOM & ASSOCIATES, COLUMBUS, OHIO and commissioned in 1974 and is currently owned by Candlewood Lake Association Inc.
