Lake Rockwell Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 2 miles from Kent, Portage, Ohio.
The dam, which is on the Cuyahoga River, was primarily built for Water Supply purposes, but also serves for benefits.
The dam was designed by F.A. BARBOUR AND E.G. BRADBURY and commissioned in 1913 and is currently owned by City of Akron.
