Providence Dam Information

Providence Dam is a concrete gravity dam located about 12 miles from Waterville, Wood, Ohio.

The dam, which is on the Maumee River, was primarily built for Recreation purposes, but also serves for Water Supply benefits.

The dam was designed by Burgess & Niple, Ltd (1996 Repairs) and commissioned in 1907 and is currently owned by ODNR, Division of Parks & Watercraft.
