Arbuckle Dam Information
Arbuckle Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 2 miles from Dougherty, Murray, Oklahoma.
The dam, which is on the Rock Creek River, was primarily built for Flood Risk Reduction purposes, but also serves for Recreation and Water Supply benefits.
The dam was designed by USDA NRCS and commissioned in 1965 and is currently owned by US Bureau of Reclamation.
