Fern Ridge Dam Information

Fern Ridge Dam is an earthen embankment dam located in Eugene, Lane, Oregon.

The dam, which is on the Long Tom River, was primarily built for Flood Risk Reduction purposes, but also serves for Irrigation, Navigation, Fish and Wildlife Pond and Recreation benefits.

The dam was designed by CENWP and commissioned in 1941 and is currently owned by USACE – Portland District.
