Stillwater Dam Information

Stillwater Dam is a rockfill earth dam located in Forest City, Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.

The dam, which is on the Lackawanna River, was primarily built for Flood Risk Reduction purposes, but also serves for Recreation and Water Supply benefits.

The dam was designed by CENAB and commissioned in 1960 and is currently owned by USACE – Baltimore District.
