Wateree Dam is a gravity concrete earth dam located about 8 miles from Camden, Sc, Kershaw, South Carolina.

The dam, which is on the Catawba River, was primarily built for Hydroelectric purposes, but also serves for Water Supply benefits.

The dam was designed by WATEREE POWER COMPANY and commissioned in 1919 and is currently owned by Duke Energy.
