Melton Hill Dam Information

Melton Hill Dam is a concrete gravity dam located about 21 miles from Kingston, Loudon, Tennessee.

The dam, which is on the Clinch River, was primarily built for Hydroelectric purposes, but also serves for Navigation, Recreation and Water Supply benefits.

The dam was designed by TVA and commissioned in 1963 and is currently owned by TVA.
