Lake Comanche Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 5 miles from Newburg, Comanche, Texas.

The dam, which is on the Mercer Creek River, was primarily built for Irrigation purposes, but also serves for Recreation benefits.

The dam was designed by FREESE AND NICHOLS and commissioned in 1948 and is currently owned by LAKE COMANCHE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION.
