Umbarger Dam Information

Umbarger Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 11 miles from Canyon, Randall, Texas.

The dam, which is on the Tierra Blanca Creek River, was primarily built for Fish and Wildlife Pond purposes, but also serves for benefits.

The dam was designed by 1993 modifications designed by GEI Consultants, Inc. and commissioned in 1938 and is currently owned by US FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE.
