Red Fleet Dam Information

Red Fleet Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 10 miles from Vernal, Uintah, Utah.

The dam, which is on the Big Brush Creek River, was primarily built for Fish and Wildlife Pond purposes, but also serves for Irrigation, Recreation and Water Supply benefits.

The dam was designed by and commissioned in 1979 and is currently owned by US Bureau of Reclamation.

The Red Fleet Dam is approximately 1,670 feet (509 m) long, 161 feet (49 m) high and has a structural volume of 2,300,000 cubic yards (1,758,477 cubic metres).
