Cle Elum Dam Information

Cle Elum Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 10 miles from Cle Elum, Kittitas, Washington.

The dam, which is on the Cle Elum River, was primarily built for Flood Risk Reduction purposes, but also serves for Irrigation and Recreation benefits.

The dam was designed by DOI WPRS and commissioned in 1932 and is currently owned by US Bureau of Reclamation.
