Wynoochee Dam Information

Wynoochee Dam is a gravity earth dam located about 37 miles from Montesano, Grays Harbor, Washington.

The dam, which is on the Wynoochee River, was primarily built for Water Supply purposes, but also serves for Fish and Wildlife Pond, Recreation, Hydroelectric and Flood Risk Reduction benefits.

The dam was designed by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and commissioned in 1972 and is currently owned by City of Aberdeen.
