Adelaide Dam Information

Adelaide Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 8 miles from Shell, Big Horn, Wyoming.

The dam, which is on the Adelaide Creek River, was primarily built for Irrigation purposes, but also serves for Fish and Wildlife Pond benefits.

The dam was designed by RICHARD L. VOLPE and commissioned in 1990 and is currently owned by SHELL VALLEY WATERSHED IMPROVEMENT DIST..
