Fontenelle Dam Information
Fontenelle Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 59 miles from Jamestown, Lincoln, Wyoming.
The dam, which is on the Green River, was primarily built for Fish and Wildlife Pond purposes, but also serves for Recreation, Hydroelectric and Water Supply benefits.
The dam was designed by US Bureau of Reclamation and commissioned in 1963 and is currently owned by US Bureau of Reclamation.

The reservoir has a normal storage capacity of 345,360 acre-ft (425,995 Ml) and maximum capacity of 405,160 acre-ft (499,757 Ml).
