Pilot Butte Dam Information

Pilot Butte Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 25 miles from Riverton, Fremont, Wyoming.

The dam, which is on the Wyoming Canal River, was primarily built for Irrigation purposes, but also serves for benefits.

The dam was designed by ARNOLD CO. and commissioned in 1925 and is currently owned by US Bureau of Reclamation.
