Sulphur Creek Dam Information

Sulphur Creek Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 12 miles from Evanston, Uinta, Wyoming.

The dam, which is on the Sulphur Creek River, was primarily built for Irrigation purposes, but also serves for Fish and Wildlife Pond, Water Supply and Flood Risk Reduction benefits.

The dam was designed by JOSEPH C. LORD;USDA NRCS and commissioned in 1964 and is currently owned by CITY OF EVANSTON.
