The dam, which is on the Bear River, was primarily built for Irrigation purposes, but also serves for benefits.
The dam was designed by DANIEL F. LAWRENCE and commissioned in 1962 and is currently owned by WOODRUFF NARROWS RESERVOIR ASSOCIATION.
