Belmont Lake Dam Information

Belmont Lake Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 0.4 miles from Loomis, Belmont, Ohio.

The dam, which is on the Barkcamp Creek River, was primarily built for Recreation purposes, but also serves for benefits.

The dam was designed by BURGESS & NIPLE, LTD, COLUMBUS, OHIO and commissioned in 1961 and is currently owned by ODNR, Division of Parks & Watercraft.
