Crawford Dam Information

Crawford Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 1 miles from Crawford, Delta, Colorado.

The dam, which is on the Iron Creek River, was primarily built for Irrigation purposes, but also serves for benefits.

The dam was designed by US Bureau of Reclamation and commissioned in 1962 and is currently owned by US Bureau of Reclamation.
