New Thomas Dam Information

New Thomas Dam is an earthen embankment dam located about 18 miles from Evans, Weld, Colorado.

The dam, which is on the Howlett Gulch River, was primarily built for Water Supply purposes, but also serves for benefits.

The dam was designed by MCCALL-ELLINGSON & MORRILL and commissioned in 1976 and is currently owned by XCEL ENERGY.
